Claudio Desiati

Born in Sardinia, now I live in San Pantaleo (up the hills between Costa Smeralda and La Maddalena Archipelago), from my veranda I can see La Maddalena Archipelago and I really love it !

Many years ago I’ve spent 10 months of my life in Santo Stefano Island (one of the archipelago) when I was a Sergent of the N.A.T.O. base during the military service, nowadays I come back as a guide with pleasure !

I'm the company founder and I speak Italian and English.

I’m a certified outdoor guide and sea-kayak coach, I began in 2004 as hiking guide and few years later as kayak guide.

Between 2004 and 2018 I’ve run over 2000 excursions (land based and sea kayaking) and I still have strong passion for my job.

I also work as educator of sustainable tourism and ecotourism.

I took the following courses: basic skills, roll, BCU 3 Star Sea, BCU 4 Star Sea Kayak Leader – Coastal Navigation & Tidal Planning, Coach level 1, Coach level 2, Euro Paddle Pass Standards, first aid, incident management and many other courses then I have joined ISKGA, the International Sea Kayak Guide Association to improve my skills.

A special thanks to all masters of my kayak club Sottocosta.

My motto is "continuously improving" because I still have to learn from the best kakakers of the world, to provide my clients a better service.
